Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. It is best known for its sunny weather and its beaches. Being an island, Malta is surrounded by both sandy and rocky beaches along northern, southern, eastern and western coasts. Wherever you go at the periphery, you will find a beach in Malta. The Maltese summer is known for its hot and sunny days, making it convenient to have cool water in which to relax nearby.
